I aim to create beautiful images that convey positive emotions within the viewer, inspiring interest, confidence, ideas and action.
The creation of a fantastic portrait requires time and trust with both subject and photographer working together to achieve the required results. With a calm, good natured, broad-minded and unflappable outgoing personality, and wide life experience, I bring enviable skills in working with people people from all walks of life, mainstream or minority. An ability to engage with people, to relax and be themselves, to enjoy the session - encouraging them to be who they really are, or who the really want to be - gets some great results whether in the studio or on location.
Since you are reading this you probably have a need for someone to provide you with pictures that are something special and say something special. All photographers are unique. You are buying their own way of seeing the world and taking on a member of your team to deliver.
Key to delivering great images is understanding what it is that you NEED. This is distilled from an understanding if what they are for and what the pictures need to evoke in the viewer.
I will work with you to create your vision as efficiently and economically as possible establishing how the shots can be achieved, planning and organising the shoot - including permissions, models, make-up, stylists, other specialists, props, lighting, photography, transports etc., making it come together and happen on the day, and post processing the images right through to them being ready to drop into your documents, web site pages or however else they are to be used.
